Processing Customer Returns

Returns and adjustment notes (sometimes referred to as credit notes) are processed from the "Adjustments Screen", which is located on the customers main menu.

Adjustments in Bookkeeping is a general term for any time that a good or service is returned or credited to the customer. The basic principle is always to process a return and then (possibly) a refund.
